I Started My Agency With Almost No Money

Inspiration
I started my agency with almost no money, and I used to think that was the biggest problem.
Like genuinely, I believed that.
I thought if I don’t have money, I can’t start anything serious. I used to see people online with setups, teams, tools, everything looking perfect… and I felt like I was already behind before even starting.
So what did I do?
Nothing.
I stayed in that loop where you keep learning, keep watching videos, keep thinking I’ll start when I’m ready… but that ready moment never comes.
And honestly, that phase wasted more time than anything else.
Then something shifted.
I don’t even remember the exact day, but I remember the feeling. I just got tired of waiting. Tired of overthinking everything. And I asked myself a very simple question
If I don’t have money… what do I actually have?
And the answer was simple.
I had time.
I had internet.
And I had this constant curiosity where I couldn’t just sit and do nothing.
So I stopped making it complicated.
I didn’t sit down and make a business plan or anything like that. I just picked a direction. I decided I’ll build something around skills that are actually useful like websites, conversions system, lead generation… things businesses already need.
At that time, I didn’t even know what I was doing properly.
I was just trying things.
Watching tutorials, testing tools, failing, starting again. No clear roadmap. No mentor. Just figuring things out step by step.
And my setup?
It was honestly very basic.
No expensive tools. No crazy systems. No big investment.
Maybe I spent like $10, $20… sometimes used free trials. That’s it.
I didn’t wait to have everything perfect. I just started reaching out to people, trying to understand how businesses actually work, what problems they have, how I can help them.
And this is something I realized very early, which I think most people miss:
It’s not about tools.
It’s not about design.
It’s not even about having the best service.
It’s about talking to people and solving one real problem.
That’s it.
You can have the best system in the world, but if you’re not talking to people, nothing happens.
And I’ll be honest here — this journey was not some “start with $100 and make $10K next month” kind of story.
It didn’t happen like that for me.
It’s been around 3 years.
And I’ve made maybe $1000–$724 online.
That’s not a crazy number. I know that.
But here’s what changed.
I didn’t quit.
And more importantly, I understand things now that I didn’t before.
I understand how clients think.
I understand how to build systems.
I understand how to actually improve something over time.
And that’s something you can’t really skip.
Starting with no money actually helped me more than I expected.
Because I couldn’t rely on tools.
I had to rely on thinking.
I had to figure things out.
I had to actually do the hard parts.
If I had money, I probably would’ve wasted it on things that don’t even matter in the beginning.
So if you’re sitting there thinking you can’t start because you don’t have money…
that’s not the real problem.
The real problem is waiting.
Waiting to feel ready.
Waiting for the perfect setup.
Waiting for confidence.
That stuff doesn’t come before you start.
It comes after.
Even now, I’m still figuring things out.
Still learning. Still improving.
But one thing is clear in my mind now —
I’d rather move forward slowly on my own path
than stay stuck waiting for the right time.
Because that right time?
It never really shows up.
